As Above, So Below is a play-by-post RPG based on the Dragon Age series of video games. Play takes place during the events of Dragon Age: Inquisition as our characters navigate cutthroat politics, tumultuous relationships, and the looming threat of a sky torn asunder. Set in a world of dark fantasy, we explore mature topics while crafting thoughtful and compelling plots focusing on OC stories with minimal canon involvement. We're an advanced RP for those who are comfortable with creative writing. 18+, 3/2/2, Faceclaims optional.

Maraas
friends
Maraas does not make friends easily. He expects people to earn his trust and respect. This is not an impossible task, but he rarely seeks out others for friendship. Given his situation, he will work with colleagues, and speak with them, but will not easily call them Kadan.
enemies
Maraas has no enemies. Like friends, rivals would need to earn his respect before being considered such. Tal-Vashoth and Fog Warriors are among those he considers true enemies. He looks upon Tevinters as bas, Unworthy of respect.
lovers
This is an alien concept for Maraas. He is curious about love, and the bond that can form between two people. He's wondering whether the Qun is correct in calling this bond a weakness. he will likely have questions.
Ooh, I'd love to see how Amos would react to meeting Maraas. He probably hasn't met many Qunari before, and it could be interesting to see how he'd react to meeting one face-to-face. I definitely don't think they'd get along, but that could be amusing in and of itself. An uppity Orlesian and a hard-boiled Qunari sounds like a recipe for a fun thread.

I'm looking forward to all these people who are going to hate or be poking at Maraas He should be fun to play.
I'm wondering if Maraas would differentiate between Vashoth, those born and raised outside the Qun, and Tal-Vashoth, those who knew the Qun and left it behind. Because otherwise... Gaatlok and Maraas may run into a few difficulties.

Sure he would. He isn't entirely sure what he is at the moment anyway. Definitely not Tal-vashoth, but not following the Qun either, since he has left of his own accord.

I would be extremely interested in watching Maraas and Gaatlok interact, then. If nothing else, it would prove to be entertaining, if not an odd sort of philosophical.
