As Above, So Below is a play-by-post RPG based on the Dragon Age series of video games. Play takes place during the events of Dragon Age: Inquisition as our characters navigate cutthroat politics, tumultuous relationships, and the looming threat of a sky torn asunder. Set in a world of dark fantasy, we explore mature topics while crafting thoughtful and compelling plots focusing on OC stories with minimal canon involvement. We're an advanced RP for those who are comfortable with creative writing. 18+, 3/2/2, Faceclaims optional.

For the most part, she doesn't do "friends." She doesn't like letting people get close, and she's not particularly kind or polite. Allies, though, she's got a handful of those: other red templars and such.
That said, I'd love for her to make a real friend or two, someone brave enough to take on the walls she's got built up and maybe work through her many unresolved issues. Also, even though I SO look forward to playing a baddie, I'm thinking long term here and would like to pursue a redemption arc, so a good friend might help set that in motion.
enemies
I bet you're one of these. She's a red templar, need I say more? Also, she's got this weird love/hate relationship with the Chantry where she's a devout believer but blames the Chantry for eating disorder and addiction that destroyed her life. Oddly enough for a templar, she doesn't hate mages all that much unless they do objectively bad things. Joke's on you, she hates herself more :/

N O P E
She's sex-repulsed and finds pleasure of any kind morally reprehensible.

Are you interested in bringing her to the Conclave? I can't say I have any in-depth ideas, but Silas might take an interest in the physical signs of her red lyrium addiction. He's an astute guy, and also painfully unaware socially, so I could see him walking right up to Genvieve and being like, "Hey, did you know you have a skin infection? Can I examine it?" Which, I can imagine, might end poorly for him. Haha.
Ooooh, I was trying to brainstorm ideas for how to get her into the Conclave, and I love this idea because I thrive on putting characters in awkward situations
I'm not sure how obvious it is that she's a Red Templar (physically speaking anyways), but Amos is fairly devout and respects the Templar Order. Maybe he could mistake her for a normal Templar? If so, he probably wouldn't mind having a chat with her, as he loves hearing stories about the Order (especially now that it's in tatters). They probably wouldn't get along per say, but still, it could be interesting to see how it turns out.
