An individual who carved a reputation as a non magic user, specialized in effective, consistent, and quick disposal of mages and vicious abominations - protected by carefully guarded anonymity. Known too for a keen focus in disrupting slave trade. Deaths of crews were felt across the waking sea, leaving lasting rifts in the economy of the Imperium that relied on the living flesh of women and men.
Relationships
If you are the downtrodden, he will stand for you, protect you and cradle you. If you are the cruel and power hungry, he will loathe you, watch you, and hunt you.
Ulric's disposition is a kind of intense serenity. He tolerates most personalities and speaks just enough. What he does not tolerate is needless cruelty or rudeness, should you not commit these, you will likely get along fine. One of his greatest shortcomings is his complete lack of charisma. In all likelihood he will not approach you unless he needs something, but in his own way his door is always open, despite his walls being built high and thick.
He tends to keep allies rather than friends, always the other half of a mutually beneficial whole. Anything beyond that has become difficult for him. Love currently feels like an impossibility. His attraction requires an emotional intimacy first, which is difficult for one that hardly even keeps friends. Ulric doesn't seek companionship, but he is lonely and weary and in need of it all the same.

So we've already talked about Ulric and Silas—I'm definitely down to do some healing and see where that goes!
Kyne and Ulric could be an interesting mix, too. I'm tentatively planning on him getting into trouble with the Venatori at some point, and the protection of a mage-killer would be very useful. Ulric could also chill him the fuck out a little, lol.
I could start a thread for Silas and Ulric if you'd like! There's some potential there...is there anything about Silas' that's notably tevene? Silas might notice Ulric's weapons are of the imperium by the handiwork.
As for Kyne and Ulric, that would be interesting...of Kyne was ever acting like a brat Ulric would def knock him down a peg, but also at the same time be v tolerant of his spontaneity and enthusiasm about the world at large. There's a potential that Kyne might not think Ulric is humoring him enough / paying enough attention and get a bit irritated by that too.

I think Silas' features mark him as Tevene, especially to someone who's familiar with Tevinter. If Ulric asks around for a healer first, someone could direct him to "blah blah healer Agosti," which would definitely give him away. He'll definitely recognize the origin of Ulric's blades if they look anything like the standard Legion kit. But, yeah! Start a thread whenever you're ready!
