Hey y'all! I'm happy to announce our first contest on As Above, So Below: Dragon Age flash fiction!

Beginning on Saturday, September 22nd, the contest's sub board will open in the Off Topic section of the site. Each week, I'll post a piece of Dragon Age art which will serve as a prompt that you can use as inspiration for your stories. Each prompt thread will be open for a week—Saturday to Saturday—for a total of six weeks. Y'all can vote for your favorites each week by handing out likes (as many as you want!), and the top three cumulative like scorers will win some neat (I hope) prizes!

Contest rules:

—Flash fiction stories should be between 500-800 words and in some way related to the prompt image of the week.

—You can only post one story per prompt.

—Only stories posted from OOC accounts will be considered.
—You do not have to participate every week to be eligible to win.

—You cannot like your own stories.

—You can only like stories from your OOC account.

—You can like stories even if you don't submit one of your own.
—If you are a winner, you must provide me with an address in order to recieve your prize.

I'm assuming the stories should be DA fanfiction, right?

They should take place in Thedas, yeah. But you don't have to include canon characters if you don't want to. I'm trying to pick images that are more location focused than anything so you're not all shoehorned into writing about Solas or Dorian or whatever. If I do include any images that feature people prominently, you're all welcome to interpret them however you'd like.
