As Above, So Below is a play-by-post RPG based on the Dragon Age series of video games. Play takes place during the events of Dragon Age: Inquisition as our characters navigate cutthroat politics, tumultuous relationships, and the looming threat of a sky torn asunder. Set in a world of dark fantasy, we explore mature topics while crafting thoughtful and compelling plots focusing on OC stories with minimal canon involvement. We're an advanced RP for those who are comfortable with creative writing. 18+, 3/2/2, Faceclaims optional.

I feed on the friction. I'm right where I should be, don't try to fix me.
◀ friends
friends are something that otter has seldom encountered, not entirely used to the concept of 'nice' and is still quite confused on that front. she views kindness as a ploy to get on her good side, to try and discover her weaknesses. that being said, i'd very much love for people to try and befriend my bitter, grumpy elf. in reality, she really needs friends, people to show her that the world may not be as cruel and terrible as she thinks. anyone and everyone is welcome to try and become friends with molmana'gaval! it would be interesting to see how her anxiety and other issues manifest around others who are trying to pry open her shell.
i would say other mages and elves would have the easiest time trying to get her to open up in any other way that isn't a fireball in the face.
◀ enemies
this is an absolute must! a dalish elf mage? yes, she would definitely be the target for mage hunters and bitter templars, but that doesn't mean that she wouldn't develop other dislikes. since molmana is essentially racist towards humans, the likeliness of her becoming enemies with someone raises pretty high if you're a human/warrior or templar.
◀ loves
i love the concept of love, what can i say? that being said, otter doesn't.. or rather, doesn't understand it in the slightest. she's a naive, virgin who hasn't even had her first kiss yet.. well, she almost did with this qunari but she very much wishes to forget his name, and his voice and everything else..
but while valtion and i plan to ship our muses, any discourse or unrequited loves from other people are definitely welcome!

I feel like Otter and Mathras really need to talk. I think there is a possibility that they could become friends. I was also going to suggest seeing if they have enough chemistry together to be lovers, but you've got that aspect covered XD

I would apologize for pre-claiming the romance, but... nah. However, if Mathras feels like stirring the pot or making things much more interesting, I know that Gaatlok has a few prepared responses.

I agree that they definitely need to talk! I think that, beyond anything else, they'd get along well due to their collective dislike of modern elves! He could even attempt to coax her to join Fen'Harel due to her fervent belief in the creators. As for lovers, I know that Valtion and I would both be up for a little bit of discourse depending on the collective chemistry and if they meshed well enough.
That being said, I have another elf I'm currently in the middle of creating, Sabine. She's extremely different from Molmana and would create an interesting scenario between them considering that she does love her Clan and believes not only in the Creators but also the Maker, etc. If the chemistry between them worked out, a good girl Grey Warden and an antagonist bad boy is what I live for.

Neither Mathras nor I are interested in love triangles, unrequited love, or any other such things.

That's fine, as I'm not terribly interested in having a giant angry qunari puppy trying to murder people just yet. But yes, please, watching the two elves interact at all is bound to be something beautiful.
